Accommodation

Eumeralla offers the ideal location for your next camp as it  is set on  picturesque 300 acres of natural bush setting with panoramic ocean views.  There are two managers who live onsite and are contactable at all times.

Here at Eumeralla we offer an array of different accommodation options depending on your groups needs, ranging from fully equipped houses, cabins and bush camping.

Bunk Style Accommodation:

Environmental Centre:

Environmental Centre - Eumeralla Scout Camp

Built in 1999, the Environment Centre is a multipurpose building designed to replace the old cub pack holiday centre.  It accommodates up to 36 people (6 cabins of 6).  This facility has a large undercover deck where groups can gather for various purposes.   The building has a large area for indoor multi-purpose uses, along with a fully equipped commercial kitchen and dining area.

Troop Hall:

Troop Hall - Eumeralla Scout Camp

This building was relocated from the Naval Base at Williamstown.  It accommodates up to 54 people (4 cabins of 12) and includes an internal bunk room sleeping 6.  This facility has a fully equipped commercial kitchen and dining area named after Antarctic explorer Doctor Phillip Law.  The main hall area decoration is attributed to the Nauru / Boss Hurst association and can be used for internal activities.  (Ball games must NOT be played in this area).

This building also contains the training annex for the use of Geelong region training and adult development.

Headquarters:

Head Quarters - Eumeralla Scout Camp

Originally set up for Accommodating the Duty Patrol of Scouts, the building was originally situated at the Camp Gate, but was moved up the hill to its present site.  Headquarters accommodates 10 people via 3 rooms, 8 in one room, 1 in 2nd room and two in the third room.

The Lodge:

The Lodge - Eumeralla Scout Camp

Originally built as part of the training centre at Eumeralla “The Lodge” is still used for accommodation. The Lodge accommodates up to 14 people (1 x 10 bunk room and 1 x 4 leaders area).

Bush Camping sites:

Money Box and Cyril Smith Camping:

The name “Money Box” was coined from our dear friend ‘Jim Money’ the mentor of Scouting in Geelong.  It is now used as a base for scout activities and is adjacent to the Cyril Smith camping area.

We are only open for registered groups, scouts and schools. Sorry NO PUBLIC camping.
